The project centred around two substantial listed buildings in a village near Dunmow. An area of garden had, over time, lost association with either house and became a “no-man’s land”.
The owners asked us for our input, and we designed a single-storey dwelling with shared-access drive. This space-efficient solution sat comfortably within the area without affecting the listed buildings and added more than £250,000 to the value of the plot.
